  • Finally got to check this place out. Went early evening on a Wednesday so it wasn't too busy. Decor is great, the outside is a bit deceiving as it looks dark but inside is totally different. Service was prompt and friendly. Ordered the fish special and the fish & chips. Both were great with the fish and chips as one of the best I've ever had. Not sure what type of fish was used....but the portion size was two huge filets and they were cooked perfectly with a crisp outside and juicy inside. French onion soups was also delicious with the right amount of cheese on top. The Carrot goners soup also good. Both were piping hot so be careful! I'd love to go back and try other things on the menu.

  • What a pleasant surprise!!!.. ended up here by accident..wanted a quick brunch..so we walked in because the restaurant we were taken to was closed..It was empty on a Wednesday at 1030am..it had just opened..we came in a little rushed and frustrated and still we were greeted with kindness ..The waiter promised we wouldn't be disappointed..and BOY was HE Accurate!!!! The Food was DELICIOUS to say the least..We promise we will return! I'm a Harlem native who hasn't lived in NY for 20 years..So I didn't know this place existed!! Now I do...Best Brunch food I ever had..and If you look at my reviews you'd know I'm a foodie

  • The food was really really good surprisingly. Everything from the appetizers to the main course was delicious and well seasoned. The octopus, calamari, and codfish cakes were yummy. The 2 for 1 martini drinks were good too, ginger flavor was the best. The fish was so delicious

  • The Grown & Sexy Ladies had our Secret Santa at the Renaissance Harlem Restaurant. I am so glad we had our brunch there because it was fantastic. The food was banging, Sangria drinks had help but turned out good. The music and atmosphere was just great. Our whole outing was a great day... great food, great drinks , great hosts Corbyn and Gziz, and great gifts. Today was a GREAT DAY!!!!

  • I haven’t been here in years! Last time I came here was for a new year’s eve event and I forgot about this place but Im so glad I returned here for breakfast. The server says it gets busy on a Sunday for brunch around 1pm so I was glad to beat the crowd and enjoy the quiet time with my family. I made a reservation just in case anyway which was easy to do online. All in all, The food was really good. We barely had any left over to take home. We had the cod Benedict, chicken and waffle and veggie burger. All delicious options and I knew I would come back because there were so many options on the menu to choose from. One note I would make is the food was fried a little too hard so if you’re like me make sure you request a soft waffle and easy on the fried foods. Other than that it was great. The sangria is a silent killer! It was very tasty and strong. We ordered a craft but one glass was good enough for me. So if you’re a light weight, be careful. The service was pleasant, efficient and we were very satisfied. The decor is a little worn and some of the plants look like they need help but the food is undeniable and the prices were reasonable. I would 100% recommend this place and I can see this as a gem in Harlem. Thank you!

  • This restaurant has incredible food and impeccable vibes. We ate here three times over the course of four days! The menu has just enough variety to keep it interesting but not an overwhelming amount of dishes. Their food always comes out hot, and tastes incredibly fresh. Their drinks are incredible and they have great deals on martinis certain days of the week. Everyone at Renaissance are kind and attentive. They are personable and make sure you have such a good time. On Saturdays and Sundays they have a live dj!! If not live music, always a great playlist. Really incredible at hosting people and very inviting! I recommend the kale Cesar salad, carré d’agneau, braised short ribs, organic hanger steak and the shrimp scampi!! But literally anything you choose will be delicious! Also their cappuccinos and lava cake are great!

  • Great food it's a wonderful location. I have had the pleasure of dining twice at Renaissance it 9s a hidden gem with amazing food. Well seasoned, beautiful presentation and accommodating staff. This is a spot advertised for it's 2 for $18 Martini; although well made do not let deflect from the amazing spices and savory taste. 5/5 or 10/10 .
